Reflections: In Humanities, we did a DBQ Essay and the whole point of the essay was to explain what the WWII effect had on people and the community. To explain about the struggles that people had to go through with the war and about the money changes that had happened throughout the years. One of the 21st Century skills used was Global Awareness, it was focused on poverty and the difference between the poor and rich people. It talked about the benefits only some people had and how a lot of the under class people have to suffer. We were also looking at different graphs and it was just showing the different levels of poverty and economics. It sucks to see that it is still going on in today's society. We have definitely have improved a lot but it still not enough.
It was very a very hard assignment because essays are not my strong suite. Plus also only being able to have about 40-50 minutes to finish, it was very intense. It was fun to read about and to learn new things about the different generations and how money was and wasn't a big issue for small communities and/or cities.
